Security is no longer the sole responsibility of the authorities, but requires a combined effort from companies and individuals. Today, being able to interoperate, share information and overcome the undesired threats collectively are crucial to national resilience.

Home Defence & Border Protection Asia 2008 (HDBPA 2008) will focus on the key challenges, responses and solutions facing those involved in national security, business resilience and operating on borders of Asia today. It will also examine and discuss the doctrinal, logistical, technological and tactical aspects of homeland defence & border protection with regional and international perspectives. The conference will also highlight new and emerging challenges of security that we have to grapple with these days.
